Waa-HOO!

By way of Rich Lucibella, who (I think) got it from Kevin McClung, we have a documentary on the ancient art of Kabumei.

This is funny stuff. Which means that I am a sick, sick person. But we already knew that.

Enjoy!

Complacency. Being bothered to learn anything about anything might be a hindrance to this evenings prior engagement with reality t.v.

Cool! I want one!

I wonder if this would be considered Any Other Weapon, a desctructive device, or fireworks.

Hilarious! (Guess I'm a little sick in the head too.)

I'm guessing the Kabumei master’s laundry bill is astronomical.

Is it wrong that I enjoyed the girl the most? (Or at least identified with her!) Watching this made me a tad resigned... I know my boyfriend and my guy friends will attempt to do somthing like this... and soon. We belong to a ren group that has a week long event coming up complete with tourneys, full tilt battles, and more... and somehow I have a feeling that I and several of my female friends are going to be standing around rolling our eyes as the boys attempt their own form of Kaboomi.

Does it seem wrong that the "boys I'm talking about run the gamut from 18-55? -Sigh- Gotta love it. I'll have to find a way to post the effects of Kaboomi on a Roman or Orcish army.

The Kabumei vid is vulgar, tasteless, and sophomoric.

I like it. :D

I think I prefer the western way of war.

The Kaboom-meisters try to make sure it happens at a distance, and prefer queiter techniques for close in work.
