Interview cancelled

When I mentioned creeks rising, I didn't mean it literally.

I was supposed to do an interview tonight over at TxFellowship, but it seems that my host got cross-threaded with the hurricane response.

We'll reschedule that interview for a later date, but in the meantime fingers crossed for Mark and his loved ones.

Lawdog sir, I have a question.

What is a good but cheap place to live in Texas?

I ask because my father wants to move out & live in Mexico due to the climate being good for his back.

I figure the climate can't be that different from Texas & we wouldn't have to worry about Mexican police.

I've tried Google & it's not helping much.

Thanks for your time.

Actually, the phrase "God willing, and the Creek don't rise" referred to Creek Indians - the tribe, not a creek with water in it.

Just to be pedantic.

Hey anonymous-
Take a look at Glen Rose, Texas in Somervel County, just far enough from the metroplex not to be bothered by it, but close enough for medical specialists and such. Very pleasant community in the Hill Country.

Thanks for everyone's prayers We're home. The house still stands. Down here by Corpus we didn't get much, but all the drainage ditches and channels backed up so my yard flooded again, which happens everytime it rains heavily. I started building my cabin up at the family property, so the evacuation wasn't a total waste. I'll be sending LD an e-mail this evening about rescheduling the interview.

Thanks again for your prayers.

God Bless

Mark
