Eeeww.

Tonight being movie night, Herself and I pulled something off the rack at our local Video Store, curled up on the couch with the puppies and proceeded to watch ...

... Red Riding Hood.

*sigh*

Let me explain. No, there is too much, let me sum up:

"Take everything you like about werewolf movies, and give it a hearty, three-step soccer kick right square in the wedding tackle."

There is one, tiny redeeming feature: At least the werewolf doesn't sodding sparkle.

Yack.

I'm going to have to watch Dog Soldiers just to get rid of the saccharine aftertaste.

Nice restraint, dear. To paraphrase Spoon, this werewolf film'll give ya the shits.

Since you dig warewolves and history maybe you should see this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-R898wegx6Y

Well maybe not if you really like history.

Hey, at least it was Amanda Seyfried in the title role instead of Kristen Stewart.

Try "Hoodwinked" it's weird enough to satisfy. But make sure you watch ALL of it to iron out the plot twists...

Obviously you didn't see the review.

I recommend watching this review. It will help take the bad taste out of your mouth.

I like that movie. Own it too. Gotta agree with Anonymous though. Hoodwinked is AWESOME.

Wait - you guys still have "video stores"?? I thought they all went out of business...

Go re-read Monster Hunter Alpha - you'll feel better about werewolves again.

Rotten Tomatoes gave that Red Riding Hood movie an 11%. Seeing how you have a smart phone, albeit a slow-bus version, it might behoove you to check their site first before allowing your eyes to be raped in such a manner.

Huh. I thought this had potential. I'll make sure and keep that couple hours of my life for something with redeeming qualities.

"An experiment in genetic engineering turns harmless sheep into blood-thirsty killers that terrorize a sprawling New Zealand farm."

Black Sheep is an awesome move.

It is really bad but in a good way.

Whatever happened to good movies like Kollosus or Robinson Crusoe on Mars?
Sheesh.
